Automated Daylight Savings Time (DST) Adjustments for Postpaid Accounts 🕒
Totogi now supports automatic Daylight Savings Time (DST) adjustments for postpaid accounts, ensuring billing aligns with local time changes using Location Format in timezones.
If the account timezone is configured using the “Country/City” format (e.g., “Pacific/Auckland”), billing will be processed at midnight local time, with automatic adjustments for DST. 🌍 This ensures that accounts in regions observing DST follow the correct UTC offset throughout the year — for example, UTC +13 during DST and UTC +12 otherwise.
For backward compatibility, Totogi continues to support the existing “+/-hh” format (e.g., “+13:00”). This format is ideal for accounts where billing should remain fixed and unaffected by seasonal time changes. Use this configuration if consistency in billing times is preferred regardless of local DST changes. ⏳
Please refer to the API documentation for the full list of supported timezone formats.
