We’re excited to introduce the Automated Plan Migration feature 🎉! You can now schedule an activation time when launching a new plan version, and all subscribers will automatically transition to the new version at the specified time.

Automated Plan Migration simplifies the process of moving subscribers from one plan version to another. It allows you to migrate the entire subscriber base to the same version simultaneously, making billing and reconciliation much easier 🧾.

How It Works

– Plan Design: When launching a new plan version, specify an activation time 📅 .

– Subscription Management: Subscribe users to the new plans using PlanAliasId instead of PlanID or PlanVersionID.

– Automated Updates: Subscribers will automatically transition to the new version at the specified activation time.

– Billing Consistency: Changes to fees or allowances take effect at the next renewal, ensuring no duplicate charges or balances.

For those who prefer, the manual plan migration option remains available for testing or specific use cases.
